Past Positions:

August 2000 – present: Independent Unix/Database Consultant

Consulting with law firms in the area of special Unix and database related projects. Serve as a consultant for the daily operations and maintenance of their Microsoft / SQLServer multi-tier accounting systems, records management systems and conflict of interest systems. Key participant in major projects including data manipulations, platform migration, database migration, application software upgrades and custom enhancements, and intranet applications. Performed vendor communication and cooperation for major multi-vendor projects.

March 1997 – August 2000: Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease LLP – Columbus, Ohio
Title: UNIX System Administrator / Informix Database Administrator / Elite Application Administrator

Performed all system and database administration duties for Elite Information Systems application servers using the accounting, records management, and conflicts of interest modules. Created many system interface tools for sharing data between the HP-UX server and other applications. Developed and integrated many system boot tools and scripts. Responsible for all user application support, operating system patches and upgrades, and hardware upgrades/repairs. Developed and co-designed a Records Destruction intranet application which interfaces with the records management application.
